Terraced Garden in Hampshire

The client wanted a new terrace to enjoy the evening sun and create fresh views of the existing garden. They wanted an informal terrace that would incorporate the shapes of the existing garden. The materials used would link with those already in the garden and create a seamless link between old and new. Reclaimed bricks were also used to tie in with those used in the old steps and walls.

Colourful, low maintenance planting softens the edges of the hard landscaping. A mix of evergreen shrubs and perennials will ensure that the garden looks great throughout the year. The plants used will flower throughout the summer and will create a beautiful backdrop when the client is enjoying the evening sun.
