Cottage Garden Planting in Hampshire

The client wanted new planting in her existing garden.  They had a South facing space and loved the cottage garden style of planting incorporating plants such as Astrantia major ‘Shaggy’, Nepeta ‘Six Hills Giant’ and Rosa ‘Duchess of Cornwall’.  They also wanted a garden that would look good throughout the seasons so shrubs were incorporated to create evergreen structure amongst the softness of the perennials.  This garden was planted this year so the plants will take a few years to knit together but once they become established this garden will be an aromatic haven and the bees will love it.
